Terms of Service

Last updated: 01/10/2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Groundup Solar & Electrical LLC website (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, you agree to these terms.

Services performed for your property are governed by a separate written agreement. If these website terms conflict with your signed service agreement, the signed agreement controls, subject to applicable law.

2. Our Services

We provide roofing and solar services, including roof repairs, replacements, installations, storm restoration, and solar installation, repairs, and upgrades.

Additional services may include electrical work, battery backup, construction, home improvement, HVAC, cleaning, and janitorial services.

All services are subject to availability, property suitability, service-area coverage, and applicable licensing requirements. Your written agreement will specify the scope, materials, pricing, payment terms, and project schedule.

3. Inquiries, Appointments, and Inspections

Submitting a form, speaking with our team or virtual assistant, or booking an appointment does not authorize work or create a service contract.

An initial appointment may be a phone or virtual consultation to understand your needs and determine next steps. Booking a consultation does not automatically schedule an on-site inspection.

Any complimentary inspection or consultation is subject to the conditions stated in the offer. Inspections are limited to the agreed scope and may not identify concealed damage or every potential issue. Repairs and other paid services require separate authorization.

4. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, property, and project information.
  • Confirm that you own the property or are authorized to approve the requested work.
  • Provide reasonable and safe access for scheduled services.
  • Disclose known hazards, damage, access restrictions, and relevant property conditions.
  • Review and approve service agreements and proposed changes.
  • Make payments according to your written agreement.

Responsibilities for permits, utility approvals, and other authorizations will be specified in the service agreement.

5. Estimates, Pricing, and Payments

Preliminary estimates are based on available information and may require an on-site assessment. Website pricing and promotions apply only under their stated conditions.

Your written agreement will establish the final scope, price, deposit, and payment schedule. Changes to materials, scope, or property conditions may affect costs and timing.

Additional work and related charges will be documented and approved before proceeding, except where otherwise permitted by the agreement and applicable law.

6. Scheduling and Delays

Appointment dates and completion timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

Weather, material availability, concealed damage, permit processing, inspections, utility approvals, and other circumstances may affect scheduling. We will communicate material changes and coordinate revised arrangements when needed.

7. Warranties and Workmanship

Any workmanship warranty will be described in your service agreement or separate warranty documentation.

Roofing materials, solar panels, inverters, batteries, electrical components, and other equipment may carry manufacturer warranties subject to their respective terms, exclusions, and maintenance requirements.

Nothing in these terms limits warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Performance Estimates and Project Outcomes

Solar production, energy savings, battery runtime, and other performance estimates depend on system design, weather, shading, energy usage, equipment, maintenance, and utility policies.

Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, we do not guarantee specific savings, energy production, uninterrupted backup power, property-value increases, insurance coverage, financing approval, or eligibility for rebates or incentives. Any express commitments in your signed agreement remain applicable.

9. Third Parties and Website Information

Our services may involve manufacturers, suppliers, utilities, financing providers, subcontractors, and other third parties. Their products and services may be subject to separate terms.

Website information is provided for general guidance and does not replace a property assessment or written proposal. We do not control the content, availability, or privacy practices of linked third-party websites.

Our website text, images, logos, and other materials may not be reproduced commercially without permission, except as permitted by law.

10. Cancellations, Liability, and Disputes

Cancellations, refunds, termination, and responsibility for claims relating to services are governed by your written agreement and applicable law.

Please contact us promptly about concerns so we can seek a resolution in good faith. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution provisions will be specified in your service agreement. If no agreement applies, these matters will be determined under applicable law.

Nothing in these terms waives statutory cancellation rights or excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

11. Privacy and Communications

Information submitted through our website is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

When you request assistance, we may respond regarding your inquiry, appointment, or project using the contact details you provide. Any consent required for marketing communications will be obtained separately.

Please do not submit payment details or other sensitive information through general inquiry forms.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update these website terms periodically. The revised terms and effective date will be posted on this page. Updates do not amend an existing signed service agreement unless both parties agree or applicable law provides otherwise.

For questions about these terms or our services, please contact us through the phone number, email address, or inquiry form listed on our website.
